Currently we have three instructors, all licensed and very qualified adults with several years of experience in teaching from the most beginner to upper level riders. At Rustling Wind we offer showing however we are not just a show barn and encourage pleasure riders to join us as well. Our goal is to create well trained horses and competent riders in the show ring or on the trails.

Terri Lamothe is the head instructor and manager of Rustling Wind. Terri lives on the property and oversees all daily operations as well as traveling to shows with students. She has 30 years experience in the show horse world, riding as a child with top professionals in everything from Hunter Ponies to the Big Eq. and jumpers. Terri teaches many of the people that are showing. She most enjoys coaching at all of the shows and working with people that have green projects. The most satisfying thing for her is to see a young horse transform into a well trained athlete.

Alicia Coviello began riding as a child and horse showing in the equitation and jumpers with various instructors in the New England area.  After finishing high school, she traveled to England to study with the British Horse Society where she received her BHS certification.  During this stay in England, Alicia developed her love for eventing.  She has continued to event since returning the US, with competition experience through the Preliminary level and schooling higher.  Alicia also shows some horses for clients in the hunters and jumpers and coaches students at shows and events.  Alicia rides most of our horses that are in training.  She most enjoys bringing young horses along in their eventing career or the jumper ring.  Her talent in the event field and the jumper ring are a great addition our program.
